A man stood in front of a fairly new grave. From afar, he simply looked like a visitor, but upon closer inspection, you could tell he was enduring the most painful experience. Heartbreak from losing a loved one. The man's curly, chocolate locks moved in the wind, revealing dull eyes that had once been a vibrant green. Now all that was there was a sea of pain. He had ran his tears dry over the past few hours he had stood in front of this one grave.

~My star has finally fallen~
He read the gravestone over and over again. You had died at such a young age. Your time had been stolen from you because of his foolishness. Something that killed him ever since it had happened. Guilt had already consumed his soul. Now it was taking over his mind, numbing the pain of his heart ever so slowly. "It's all my fault, mi estrella! It should have been me! You should still be here living your life! I've lived long enough.... I would give anything to have my girl back...." He shouted falling to his knees and hitting the ground with all his built up anger. Tears he thought had run out, streamed down his cheeks. He couldn't get the memory of the accident out of his head.
Here was the same man, but he was different. Happiness just radiated off his body and attached to his hand was one of the prettiest girls in the world. His star. Just looking at her would send him into a smiling mess. To say they were in love was a huge understatement. You could see the love in both of their eyes. Something as simple as saying what their eye colors were.
Now they were both laughing at something the green-eyed man had said. "Antonio! Don't be mean!" The girl scolded, but she was still a giggling mess. He wiggled his eyebrows out her making her giggle more before wrapping his arms around her waist in a sweet embrace. She returned it with another giggle. Even if he was making fun at some lady, she loved him too much to actually get mad at him. Toni would forever be the one you loved.
Antonio grinned releasing the hug before walking towards the street at a quick pace. She followed not wanting her man to get to far ahead of her. Once the light turned red, he started crossing at the cross-walk; stopping midway to make sure she was behind him. She smiled at him before her attention was diverted to something else. Something quickly gaining speed towards.... "ANTONIO!" She shouted dashing towards the surprised man and using all her strength to push him out of the way.
The impact had been quick after that. The car hit her straight on as it ran the light. She landed on the concrete in front of the stopped car with a sickening thud. She could faintly hear Antonio shouting at her. "(yourname)! NO! Not mi estrella!" He cried taking her into his arms not caring that his once white shirt was now stained crimson. He desperately called at her to open her eyes before screaming at someone to call 911. His hands found hers and gripped them as if she would wake up from a dream.
"I love you, Antonio."
Those were the last words he would ever here his loved one say. As she took her final breath, he placed one last kiss upon her lips. Tear drops falling upon her peaceful face. A small smile would forever be etched upon her lips. Even when time took control, she would always be smiling. That smile living deep within Antonio's heart.
"I love you, too." He whispered placing a kiss on the gravestone as if it were you instead. The funeral had been a little over a week after the accident and he had been with you every step of the way; vowing that one day he would join you in your star-filled heaven. You would be his and he would be yours. Even if it hurt now, he would get better, because....
